Established in 1968 by Giuseppe La Rosa, the restaurant is today managed by his sons, Vito and Salvo La Rosa.
The restaurant is located in the upper area of the town, in a sicilian villa of the mineteenth century. It is furnished in sicilian country style. In wintertime,it gives hospitality tominety covers in the four small dining-rooms: it is also available for banquets for forty covers in a single dining-room. In summertime, it gives hospitality up to a hundred covers in a single dining-room located in the garden-terrace of the restaurant; moreover,two of the winter dining-rooms are provided with air-conditioning for whom wish to dine indoors.
Vito La Rosa runs the cuisine,keeping in his dishes the sicilian tradition together with some entries concerning national cookery, proposing some historical dishes such as the Ripiddu Nivicatu, the rigatoni of fresh pasta alla Norma or with crumb and all the best kinds of fish that sicily offers.
The cellar held by Salvo La Rosa, offers more then two hundreds marks carefully selected of italian and foreign wines.
The pastries is only and exclusively of our own production, with typical local sweets always on the list and some variety of national and international sweets.
